LITURGY OF THE WORD

FOR CHILDREN

The Liturgy of the Word for Children is celebrated each Sunday during the 11:15 AM Mass.  All children ages 3 years to 8 years are invited to attend.  The children leave the main church to go to the chapel before the first reading and return during the offertory.  They hear the gospel and have activities to help them understand it.  Please pick up your child’s artwork at the table in the Festival Room after Mass is over.  Children do not need to be pre-registered to attend.  Stop by the table before Mass and make them a name tag.

We would like to have two adults in the chapel each week with the children.  The leader will plan and run the session and the second adult will help keep order.  Older children ages 10 and up can volunteer to be aides.  Please stop by our table to sign-up to help.
